Each year, MUJV (a joint venture between Veolia Water and UK Power Networks) carry out community events for charities and local groups that are in need of help.
This year’s project involved a group of volunteers working hard on the Alzheimer’s Society Day Centre in Salisbury to provide a refreshed and inviting environment for their patients, families and visitors.
TraffiGlove was privileged to be part of this scheme by donating gloves for all volunteers in order for them to safely and successfully carry out the improvements. This included transforming the external appearance of the centre, as well as painting some of the rooms inside which are used for visitors to relax. A new door bell was also installed meaning that the workers never miss a caller, along with an alarm on the back door to ensure the safety of the individuals who attend the centre.
The work was greatly appreciated:
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved. It has made a significant difference to our service and the individuals who attend as well as our visitors and staff.
